One of my most recent projects for work was to find phone app's that help with reminding someone when to take their medication. I wrote the short artcle below. Just wanted to post just incase anyone else finds it useful. I will have more apps to come shortly.

MedsLogs
This app is for IPhone users and designed for those with either complex or simple medication needs. For the simple user the free version is perfect. However for those with complex medication needs the app only costs four dollars and allows for unlimited usage and unlimited users.
When you first enter in to the app, you first enter in the names of all of your meds. The program is designed to assist in the spelling. After typing a few letters the app conveniently fills in the rest. You then set the alarm down to the minute. One downside is that the app requires you to link it with a calendar, but if you have an online calendar, like Google, this is an advantage. By linking online it then allows you to receive alerts through your computer.
Another useful feature allows for you to customize the medicine page to include information about peak air flow for asthmatics or blood sugar for those with diabetes.
It also keeps track of when you will run out of medicine and where you purchased it from previously. One last helpful feature is that it protects your privacy by allowing you to set a personal passcode and it can be quickly emailed or downloaded to any computer.
